Advancing KT sweeps 3-game series in Changwon, chases 4th place NC without a win

The fifth-ranked KT Wiz swept a three-game series in Changwon over the weekend to keep pace with the fourth-place NC Dinos.

KT won 5-2 against NC at NC Park in Changwon, South Gyeongsangnam-do on April 30.

KT, which has led the league in winning percentage since June, posted a 0.5057 winning percentage to stay within striking distance of NC, which is at 0.5059.

NC suffered from a severe Wizards jinx as they lost their sixth straight game to KT.

First baseman Kim Min-hyuk led the way with three hits, including a two-run homer.

Kim Min-hyuk hit a come-from-behind two-run homer with runners on first and second in the third inning after falling behind 0-1, and then hit an infield single with runners on second and third in the fourth inning to make it 3-1.먹튀검증

In the top of the sixth inning, with runners on second and third and Kim Min-hyuk batting, the KT contingent took the wind out of NC’s sails with a shrewd throw to first base that caught the NC infield in a “rabbit hole” as Jang Jun-won raced from first to second, then rounded second to third and raced home.

After NC cut the deficit to 4-2 on Jason Martin’s double to left, KT cut the deficit to three runs in the top of the seventh on Park Byung-ho’s RBI single to right.

After starter Wes Benjamin gave up two runs in the sixth, Son Dong-hyun (seventh), Park Young-hyun (eighth), and Kim Jae-yoon (ninth) each pitched one inning of relief to end the NC rally. Benjamin improved to 11-3 on the season with his eighth straight win.
